I’m Julie from Lifeworks Photography. I have captured the lives and milestones of thousands of Melbourne families since 1993. Many, from their Wedding day and to now, as their children have grown.
I am a mum of two, to Henry and Amelia, I understand kids, what they are capable of and how to get the best from them, believe me, these two have been photographed a lot!
As a former registered Nurse, I also understand safety and handling of precious newborns, and of course, their parents.
Preparing to welcome your newborn, is one of my favourite times, a pregnancy session is a once off opportunity to capture this miracle of life. This time passes so quickly, so I urge you, even if you contemplate only for a moment having pregnancy photos….do it! Women love the maternal beauty I capture for them, but most importantly, they feel empowered, feminine and confident.

Lifeworks Photography is situated in a house on a leafy residential street of Northcote with easy parking nearby. We offer the most convenient and versatile studio space in Melbourne with the unique option of both an indoor studio and Melbourne’s first purpose-built outdoor studio!
Designed with family photography in mind, outdoors we have a mix of rustic backdrops, a garden, old doors, a laneway, boat shed and French courtyard. Our own mini universal studio in a quiet, secure oasis. It even caters for four legged family members!
